    • I am thinking of switching my broadband plan from Starhubs's 8Mb to Starhub's surflite 2Mb........savings .......from $56 to $18.99.

      Is 2Mb sufficient?

Any advice please? Not heavy gamer......mainly surf, Youtube, some games......

      many Thank

    • Seems alright. Although I can't tell if it's a limited or unlimited broadband plan. If it's limited, you need to watch your surfing hours otherwise you will chalk up a huge bill.

    • Unlimited according to ad.

My friends at 100 Mb still complain of lag at peak hours, so better pay cheapest since all will lag anyway....

    • Might as well switch to Singnet Broadband. At least speeds are consistent. But buying hardware is a headache for those using Singnet. Buy a router that doesn't support the protocol that Singnet uses (PPPoA), you can't connect to the Net.

Its not a rumour, its a fact. LOL...Last time though, now like lesser complains.

Well it depends on the area you use...if old areas, don't use la(because of the telephone lines). New areas like Sengkang can try.

When i tried it at my friend's place yesterday, it was quite alright. No Dc, and it plays videos at veoh pretty quick.
