I'm using Maxonline 12mbps, but my speed only 5890 kb/s, consider slow or not, what about urs?

Unless your router got problem, or you are so far from the router that the signals become weaker, or there are many interferences from other routers. If there are wireless N routers around your area, their broadcast might interfere with your reception I think... Not very sure becuz I don't specialise in signal communications.

yep. 54mbps.There are also enhance 802.11g routers that offer up to 72mpbs.
but down to it all, it all depends on your service provider, your location (got alot of starhub users or not) cause it's a fat pipe. not dedicated one.
