      if you use your computer for v-long then the speed would reduce, >amount of packets received = <speed

      Kind of weird right, and i am using wifi icon_lol.gif ( by right should be slower, by left quicker )

      Maybe ur modem more advanced then the normal one.

      Shouldn't be much slower I guess. 802.11g can take up to 54mbps I think.

      Unless your router got problem, or you are so far from the router that the signals become weaker, or there are many interferences from other routers. If there are wireless N routers around your area, their broadcast might interfere with your reception I think... Not very sure becuz I don't specialise in signal communications.

      Starhub motorola modem. (black one)

      Linksys wireless router.

      There are also enhance 802.11g routers that offer up to 72mpbs.

      but down to it all, it all depends on your service provider, your location (got alot of starhub users or not) cause it's a fat pipe. not dedicated one.

      Wireless N does interfericon_lol.gif
