      Hi,

      I'm using a win XP PC and need to transfer some stuff from my old win 95 PC. I tried using a DIY cross cable but it doesn't work. What are the other alternatives ? I dun think win 95 recognises plug & play USB drives ? nor can it take cd writer. can't go on the internet as well as it uses 24MB RAM. Please help me

      Please use simple terms as i'm an IT idiot.

      The simplest way would be to borrow an external HDD casing, probably one that is for IDE HDDs, with a USB connector from whoever you know, connect the Win95 HDD to the casing and plug it to your WinXP system.
