help is needed

      Hi all,i am using a laptop with 2 os which is xp and vista....i got 2 problems with my laptop

      Firstly,when i am using xp i cant get access to online games,eg,the nprotect gameguard thing will not start,its like not getting any internet access,i already config my firewall to alllow all the online games to pass through

      Secondly,when i am using vista,my router would always dc every 3 minutes,i already don know what to do

       

      Any suggestion is greatly appreciated ^^

      suggestions ar....

      close the entire firewall and try again.

      the router software is compatible with vista?maybe the manufacturer website got say something about it?

      close liao......i think is after i start to use the trial version of norton,before using the norton trial version,the router wont dc

      anyway thnx ^^

      Yes,just online games.....it dc than become normal again than dc,keep repeating

      my is only trial version also need to remove? My fren told me that his comp crashed when he removed norton,will that happen to me as well? thnx ^^

      ok, when i start maple, the gameguard will prompt me to disable any virus vaccine program, as it acts like a spyware to check if u have any game hacking software.....it's actually a punkbuster program

      I don't think so... if you think it will crash, remove Gameguard first, then remove Norton.

      the gameguard is only activated when i start online games like maple and cabal,i want to remove norton but i also scare later tio virus : S

      one  more thing,my norton programme is in vista,is it possible that the norton will affect my xp as a result,my online games were blocked?
