computer pros pls help regarding my sound device

      i've been having problems with my computer's sound device for a long time and getting quite frustrated over it.

      last time the sound device used to be no prob until we shifted house and there is no sound device already. i have no idea what's going on too and tried many times to install the device again but everytime it just goes "driver not found, please reboot the system and try again"

      please help, i'm dying without audio!

      my comp is compaq presario sr1950ap

      got open up the casing and see if the sound card/internal speaker is connected properly?
