    • Just wondering, does anyone know how i'm able to do this? Cause googling it gives me some advanced thing that i don't really understand.

      It's an .avi file, and .srt subtitles

      thanks in advanced! <!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_559647-->

    • ok, from what i heard, if u are watching the show on ur comp, the .avi and the .srt must be same name and in same folder, when u play it will show. but it never worked for me

      eg. movie1.avi and movie1.srt must be same folder, same name, cannot be movie1.avi and movie.srt

      u try and see if it works

    • install VSFilter.

      method 1:

      rename your srt to the same name as your avi file.

      method 2:

      mux the subs into a mkv container for instance.

      method 3 (hardsub): mine's too cheem for amatuers so I'll stop here.

    • hey, so using your method, i'm able to embed the subtitles into the .avi file, and all i'll need to do is convert it into mp4 and we're done?

      thanks so much for the effort!
