    • I noticed my MS SQL has a tendency to occupy in access of 1GB of memory.  Does anyone else encounter this?  Sometimes it jumps up even to 2GB... =/

    • Maybe the 1GB is reserved by the MSSQL or you have set the minimum memory to 1GB.

As for the 2GB issue, are you using a lot of temporary tables?

    • Eh, nope.  MS SQL Server is not my choice.  Its what the company is using, and works with ASP.Net applications.  I'm just the SA sounding off some alarms due to high mem usage. =/
