See how u wanna use ur woofer
for normal soft-medium listening, those normal that u see altec lansing, those is enough, bt if turn up the volume, the woofer might not take it
If you are those like me, use for real entertainment, get size which is bigger, so when lower frequency bass comes in(earthquake sound effects, etc) it can be heard 10" or above would be veri loud for home use
