first time build of a com:
Intel Core2 Duo E8400+MSI P35 Neo2
Nvidia 9800gtx
2Gb RAM
500Gb hardisk mem(lazy to type the rest)
encountered an error when tried to install XP
apparetnly concerning "pci.sys", error address: "f748E0BF"any idea how to fix the problem? causing me considerable heartburn here....

u need to slipstream the normal windows xp cd, with the service pack 2.. den can.. i suppose the windows cd u using is a non service pack?
u can try to use this software called Autostreamer and merge the windows xp cd, with the service pack 2 which u downloaded together. Den burn the iso image to a cd, and try to install it again to yur pc.. should work.. the link to download the software is below.
