    • Didn't load a CD properly in my CD ROM drive... Now the drive door cannot be opened. It will only light up give off some whirling sound whenever I tried to open the CD rack. Can anyone help?

    • You can also try to press the eject button repeatedly until it ejects the disc.

If that fails, try to force open with a screwdriver.

    • The cd rom is most probably busy running the cd.

      • go to my computer
      • and click on your cd rom drive.
      • Try to see if your programme can install/ run.

      Now do this

      • RIght click on your cd rom drive
      • Click on eject.

      If still cannot

      • restart computer.
      • when it just switch on, immediately press open button.

      If worse come to worse:

      • Use a ruler or smth thin and squeeze throught the small spaces to act as a hinge to open it.
      • open your cpu, disconnect your cd rom drive. open the screws. to retrive your disc. (i tried this method b4 when my disc crack in the drive. I slowly retrived the pieces. It still worked in the end!)

    • Right click My Computer and select Eject. Doesn't work, take a pin and poke.

      If not, force open.

Otherwise, you can dismantle the whole thing and take out the CD.
