regarding LCD monitors

      just got a new monitor...samsung 24" syncmaster 2493 HM,

       

      just wondering...does having the lcd screen exposed to sunlight daily damage it? cos currently its sited next to a window ( as in perpendicular) so it recieves quite a lot of sunlight on the screen.

      actually should be ok..  i have my lcd facing towards the window.. and the sunlight coming in... but tat is only during the morning and noon.. it has been 2 yrs.. my LCD still working fine.. it is a samsung 17"

      if you're worried can use a piece of cloth cover your LCD monitor.. i do that to mine. keeps away dust too.
