i know already the wireless modem is miotv one. 2wire brand. got 1 usb port, not sure if i can use that usb port to connect to my home pc.

1. yes, you can setup security options. Setup should be a breeze. you can do it the driver way (cd drivers provided with the modem), call up singnet (most prob they offer on phone advice like SH/maybe @ a cost, i m not too sure about that.) or via sgforums!

2. yes, a laptop and a desktop surfing @ one time is perfectly alright. More would not be a problem

4. can. Maybe not usb port. you must check the exact model and see the specifications.

instead of using usb ports, you can use the "internet cable" or Rj45cable - looks like telephone line. but it has a fatter head.

1 - 3500kbps roughly equals 3.5Mbps

2 - if you were previously using a 3Mbps plan, chances are you are already using an ADSL 2 modem but Ethernet Modem may not have USB port, please check further with the SingNet staff on this

Ethernet means RJ45 cable, it looks like a telephone cable but is thicker and the head is bigger

3 - check with the SingNet staff for brand/model first then i can advise accordingly

No wireless does not mean you cannot have a wireless modem.

Having a wireless modem though has it perks. which is when your friend comes over,with a laptop, he is able to surf via wireless. Although people might piggy back your connection if it is not properly secured.

i'm currently using 3500kbps Broadband Unlimited.

Question :
