    • Or consider getting another 8800GT and connect both in SLI, if your motherboard and PSU are able to support them.

There are too many discussions out there regarding 8800GT SLI vs HD4870 and other comparable cards, so I'll pass you the Google Search link and leave the reading to you.

    • i do play quite some games heavily, but since o lvels coming i temporary stop

currently, i am running a 3870x2, all the games can play at high, except crysis

Crysis i set it at 1680x1050, no anti aliasing, graphics medium

other games like cod4, all max out

What motherboard are u using? if urs supports sli, wait till some more new nvidia graphic cards.

If you are a ATI fan, 4870x2 is coming out! and that is POWERFULL!!!!

      as long as it is PCI-express 2.0 x 16

u can use 8800gt 4870x2 sure can use one

But ur powersupply need at least 650watts to be safe

Asus 4870 now cost around $492, the 4870x2 when it reach here would be around maybe 800+ lor

      Pricing from bell:

      http://bellsystems.com.sg/UploadedImg/Price%20List%202Aug08.pdf

      IS this ur motherboard?:-  http://sg.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=11&l3=563&l4=0&model=1808&modelmenu=2

HOw many PCI express 2.0 x16 slots are there? if there is onli 1, u can onli put 1 graphics card, if there is 2, u need to find out ur mobo supports 2 ATI graphic card or 2 Nvidia graphic card

But usually 1 good graphic card is enough
