      As above, I hope someone can help me. My notebook hangs after I enter my password. The screen stuck at “loading personal settings”. Initially, I thought the system was slow, but after waited for 1hr, it was still the same. What’s wrong with my notebook? Any solution to this?

      Please try Last Known Good Configuration.

      1. Boot up your PC.

      2. Keep hitting the F8 button.

      3. You will be shown a menu.

      4. Using the up down arrows, select Last Known Good Configuration.

      5. Press Enter. You will be prompted one or two times more (can't recall). Just answer yes to everything (you don't press Y, it's some other letters).
