      i've gt a qns...is it true tat laptop cn save more electricity den desktop???if ture by how much??

      depend on ur usage la... desktop although eat more power but workability is better ma.. if u use programs like 3D stuff, laptop can't help u that much..

      oh btw nobody will help you calculate so detail..

      if you talking about saving electricity bill, YES!

      cause charge in school or outside, use battery at home till need to use a/c

      i too play game and music  too..but i think mine last longer than that if i remembered correctly. about like 1 1/2  hrs?

      Maximum time i can use mine with battery: Abt 2.5 hrs with weakest performance

      Abt 1 hr with strongest performance

      Hmm, let's calculate.

      If you use at home. (6 hrs)

       

      Laptop

      Charge battery + use laptop = 2x power (1hr)

      Battery Use = no use power (2hr)

      Charge battery + use laptop again = 2x power (1hr)

      Battery Use = no power (2hr)

      Estimated use= 4x power in 6hrs

      Desktop

      let's make it 1x power/ hour

      6hrs = 6x lor.

      My calculations are questionable. If your battery is weak, you might have to charge more and more means more electricity.

      This above is an analogy. Doesnt mean it works that way, cause all consume electricity differently.

      Laptops generally use lesser electricity due to it having a smaller screen, different kinds of screens, processors, power plans ect + 2.5inch Hdd.

      Desktops generally use more due to it having larger screen, Speakers that require electricity, a 3.5" Hdd that requires electircity

      Hotter = more electricity used cause energy converted into heat. + fans must work harder. (in some cases)
