    • Should i send my comp for repairs? I am successful in downloading games but when i click on the game icon to run it, my computer automatically restarts. I have tried several games several times but the process goes on and on. This onli happened after the previous time i sent my cpu for repairs. A new harddisk was changed. Is it becos of some RAM problem or any setting i haf to make? Pls tell me what to do.

I can install game cd but when i tried to run them, my comp also restart.

    • are these games are those you can still play right before you changed your hdd?

if it is, maybe your hdd is not in good condition (though its a brand new).

if this is a new game, maybe the specs of your pc/ntebuk doesnt meet the requirements needed for the game to run properly.

only games got some problems? what about opening applications? does it keep on auto restart also?

Could it also be psu problem?... gfx can draw more power than it can provide... restarting because of power instability...

Should also try other game.exe, could be it's fault (but highly unlikely...)

    • Open up your CPU casing. You should be able to see a sticker. The sticker on your power supply will tell you the rating.

    • Looks like your HDD is faulty. Can try to test with another HDD? or if the new HDD is not your main HDD, maybe you can disconnect and try.

    • other than games, what about applications.

If the hdd is suspected to be at fault when games are installed, applications should prove the same result.
