      broadband contract finished soon, what to sign up next?  any1 using mobile broadband at home? is the connection as good aswired broadband?singtel or starhub?biggrin.png

      go compare the free gifts / perks / discount when sign up / recontract

      the mio package from singnet isnt very good if you include mio voice. If the modem is down, u have no intenrnet

      Hear from people that M1 broadband sucks. Today at Comex, don't even see many souls at their booths. LOL

      Singnet still OK, but don't get MIO. That one totally sucks. Now I know. Get a normal Singnet plan, it works very fine for me.

      Starhub... depends on area. Yishun and Sembawang has good speeds. Hougang area quite slow, but still usable if you only use it for surfing and not for other stuffs like gaming.

      i use the mio modem leh, but is normal singnet bb plan la.. still ok leh.. no dc or whatever.. use 1yr plus liao..

      Stability is quite OK.

      But the speed is not as advertised. At least with normal Singnet BB plans, the speed is somewhere near as advertised. It's not the case with Mio.

      Also... it can be very laggy at times...

      Starhub @ Jurong West Area, Jurong Area is good.

      So far, unlike those extreme cases i have heard of happening to me.

       

      Starhub does also have digital voice - came out long before mio voice did. Free phone calls too if you subscribe to Maxonline.

       

      Anyways, if you already have starhub cable tv, how about having all 3 - internet, phoneline and cable tv integrated into one. (hubstation)
