    • Hi all,

do any of you have problem with your Acer laptops? The headphone jack does not look secure and when you insert your headphone jack, it tends to pop out. Like can shoot out.

I just bought a speaker and I tried it with my Acer laptop. When I plug the speaker's jack into my laptop, it produces the ZZZZZZ sound. I tried the speaker with my mp3 and there's no such problem. I think the problem lies with the headphone jack.

Anybody knows whether if I can get it repaired by Acer or is it a "normal" thing?

      Thanks!

I have neber seen a headphone jack that can "shoot" out...and a ZZZZZZ sound is not normal...so either U try again with another speaker/headphone/earphone and make sure U plug in properly....or U go back to Acer straight...especially if the warranty is not up yet.

    • I tried with other speaker as well. The same problem occurs. Not actually shoot out. But tends to.

Huh? I seldom use the jack. Not until I bought my speakers on Sunday. I seldom bring my laptop out. It's more like a desktop?
