Router problem

      I am trying to connect a router encounter this problem

      i was unable to save the setting when log in to the local area network provided..i select connection type PPPoE option and enter my user name and password..but cannot save the setting and just hang there showing " restarting... "

       

      ***********************************

      OS:vista home

      Singnet broadband

      D-link Ethernet broadband router

       

      ***********************************

      may i know what is the problem?

      OS not compatible ?

      setting?

      Shouldn't be.

      Close the router login page and try logging in again. Check the status of the page. If it's not saved, do the settings again and re-save the settings.

      If it doesn't work, reset the router.

      I reset and try again still the same..

       

      "the device reseting...." 

      wait for few minute then still the same, den now i unplug and connect back to my pc again now my the connect icon state " currently connected to network 2 access local and internet"...

      my router spoilt?

      Did u put ""username@singnet"  or just  "username"for ur DSL user ID ???
      Try the "@singnet" thing to see if it helps?
