I noticed ydy night onward my com suddenly when I on, it took very fast to start (but the window XP the loading thinky is slow in loading though). usually, when I on my com, it took very long then I can start using. btw, I think is becoz of a spyware thinky (btw, I think it gone now after I removed it) and I noticed my Control panel layout, it is like all the background is white instead of blue and my window security thinky is gone! oh and lastly, my customise notification seens to have things missing sia (only got msn, volume, spyware protector and updates). usually got like sound effect also but it is gone. Anyone know why?

You see, in order to gain some speed, your computer decided to remove the 'switch to XX view' function.
Joking aside, from what I deciphered (*sarcasm*), your main problem is with the missing 'switch to XX view' function.
The additional problem (which I cannot comprehend why are your complaining about it) that you have with your computer is that it is loading the programs too fast.
Solution for the main problem: I don't know and I don't really see there is any problem with it. Reason is because I like classic view better. Unless you die die also want the catergory view back, then maybe you can try searching the net for solution or just re-install your windows (<-Simplest way)
Solution for the additional problem: Trade in your PC with an older generation computer. A Pentium 2 and below PC would best suit your need.
