Let's post some tips here.
Let me start 1st.
what do you gain from learning music?
Learn an Instructment:
Lute - Gain 10 extra turns, an attack, and a defense
Fiddle - Fiddle Mastery (25 rounds)
Bagpipes - %s Gold and %s Gems
Flute - Amleine's Blessing (8 rounds)
Kettledrums - Gain 5 Charm, 2 Extra Turns, and 2 defense points
Learn Instruction Making:
Lute - 2000 gold, Lute Maker Power (5 rounds)
Fiddle - 500 gold and 5 gems
Bagpipes - hitpoints increase and maximum hitpoints improve by 4
Flute - Gain 5 Attack Points
Kettledrums - Gain 5 Defense Points
Learn Composition:
Festival - 2200 gold and 12 gems
Symphony - Gain 1 Attack, 1 Defense, 1 Permanent Hitpoint, 1 charm, 1000 Gold and 10 Gems
Madrigal - Music Power (5 rounds)
Dirge - 1000 Gold and 5 Gems, 50 temporary hitpoints
Sonata - 10,000 gold

I THOUGHT SHLD BE LIKE 6% OF TOTAL GEM ADDED THEN I WILL HAVE ALOTi suspect it is random give. depend on ur luck to see how many % u get.

I post this tip in the graveyard b4, so I post here again 4 u guys
Minotuar, bandits, manticore too difficuit 2 beat, u can beat them with ease with ramius blessed weapon buff
- store ur favors to above 600 til level 9
- When u start a new day at level 9, do not go to level 10 immediately, do as per normal, just dun go to level 10, suicide at level 9, go to graveyard, use 500 favors to bless ur weapon and resurrect
- Once u resurrected, do ur usual routine stuff (ignore the forest and quarry, u can go there after finishing the 3 quest), start doing minotuar quest, then bandits quest, then manticore quest after With ur blessed weapon, doing the bandits quest and killing manticore is a walk in the park.
If ur experience pts is too high, suicide @ level 8, blessed ur weapon, resurrect. After resurrection, ur master will challenge u, defeat ur master and u can start doing the minotuar, bandits and manticore quests.
Side effect: with Ramius blessed weapon buff, u can't suicide in the forest until the buff effect wears off after sometime (mayb 6-7 game days)

for me i will choose thieving skill as my special. go for suicide until i store 500 favour. usually i get blessed weapon at around level 5 or 6. then go for minotuar and bandits kills. i think bandits are hardest to fight as u need to maintain ur hp for each damage, best is get blessed weapon if possible.
as for manticore, i will level till i get backstab, den go for it.

not really for my case, i guess my attack too strong already.
i think most important u need to have backstab, plus blessed weapon which is still must be in good condition. like starE said, if ur blessed weapon obtained too early, it will lost its touch if used for too long.
