There was this case I heard. This person L1R5 got 30+ for prelims.
He worked super hard after that for that month. Really hard.
His O levels I think got slightly over 10 points.
Moral of the story: Work hard, and endure for that short period of time left. You will taste the fruits of your own hard work in the end.

Actually both are right.
If someone fail English at D7, it's still acceptable. The only problem is that the choices are very limited.
If someone fail Maths at D7, chances are you can't go anyways with D7. Probably the best choice is to retake maths.

if u're born math-idiot, can still go jc and take arts course and still excel.
but fail Eng is a no no.how many people that enters JC actually fail english?
By fail it would mean a D7 score minimum, and the rest would have to be As. If thats the case certain arrangement can be made for them just like for those PRC's on a case to case basis.
Fail maths, i'm sorry but all poly courses won't accept you. unless early childhood or nursing changed its stance which i don't think so either.

Take for example. My friend's maths is D7. After JAE and other admission process, she's taking in. She even failed to enter RP during DAE. But after afew days, out of nowhere, the letter of acceptance came. And it it's from republic polytechnic. Till now, I don't even know my friend admit into RP through which process.
The course in which she was offered wasn't something she like, and yet she accepted it. Something is better than nothing mindset overruled her. Well, I am also been overrule by this mindset once.
Now she's retaking her maths and intent to transfer next year.

i'm saying, if you fail ur maths and do rather well for ur other subs, u still can go to a JC.
however, if u fail English but ace the rest, u cant enter a JC.
i'm talking about JC context. anw entry to JC is always the indicator.
Failing of maths; yes, it's a handicap but you can still go to JC and some of the courses in the poly.
This aside, TS u better pull up ur socks!
o level is not as hard as it seems. TYS and TYS.

I've not gone thru this system? You gotta be kidding me. I am older then you think i am.
Which course accepts people who fail maths? Leaving out those that are desperate to fill up the slots.
Anyway i have yet to encounter or heard about people going to JC after they have failed maths. And i know you're gonna say that doesn't mean you haven't heard or seen means it doesn't happen, well then same goes to you. I do know of people who entered JC even while getting D7 for english.
