Can someone explain what is the "Better Mousetrap theory" to
me?

I scourge through the internet but still cant understand what
are they trying to explain especially about the part where someone
beat your path to the door or so. <img src=

And my teacher came up with some swiss knife example. Does
anyone know this too?

Thanks for all help!!

The Better Mousetrap theory - Build a better mousetrap,
and the world will beat a path to your door

It means that if you got a better idea than someone else, the
crowd will come to you automatically. Key word here is
'automatically'

'the world will beat a path to your door' means that the world
will come to you...

An example of the Mousetrap theory : You invented a 'thing', but
you did not market it to the stores or publicise it. But still
people come to you for your invention. (or come to you
automatically)
