That way it would be unfair/difficult to offer seats for other people. So they give you the best possible option.<br /> <br /> eg. (say u apply for 4 course and the requirement is a percentage)<br /> You Score 78</p> <p>1st preference - 85<br /> 2nd - 75<br /> 3rd - 69<br /> 4th - 60<br /> <br /> You cant get first preference, so the next best is 2nd. However they cant offer you 3rd and 4th.
