      anyone trying out for either of these??

      im not from singapore and dont know the difficulty of the tryout test there.

      i think the mod can probably qualify not the team but probably can go to like after preliminaries

      i got a friend whose IMO teammate is in the IPHO and IOI (International Olympiad in Informatics) as well, so judge by yourself.

      I took part in the APhO before in 2001.

      Didn't qualify for the IPhO... cuz of some internal politics by the competitors (just an excuse)

      Didn't do well for SMO though... but got Dist for some American Maths Competition which I dun even remember taking when my teacher suddenly passed me the cert
