    • after a gym session i’ll have some aches esp in the lower back area.. i understand this is due to bad form when lifting weights. how do i rectify this problem, cause i have a tendency to use my waist strength to overcome the weights.. thanks. and where can i get those waist belts to support my waist? how much is it

Look at urself in the mirror when working out? Use much lighter weights to practise the form, to feel the correct muscles working before progressing to heavier ones?

Think waist belts actually weaker your waist.

    • What are you actually doing that causes the pain? Squats? Deads? Will need to see your form to see what’s wrong. It could be that your glutes aren’t firing, hence you either flex or hyperextend your back to compensate for this, putting the load on your lower back, hence causing the pain.

    • do you train your lower back? Or do you just train other parts of the body with little emphasis to your back? I know a group of my friends who do just that, but they do not want to change

    • i dont do exercises that isolates my lower back.. do my back only.. the lats and wings.. like lat pulldown, deadlifts, bent over rows and squats for the thighs..

    • So deadlifts are a back exercise now??

      1. I would guess you are using incorrect form.

      2. You have poor core strength.

      3. You have a number of muscle imbalances.

Will a belt fix these.... NO.....

Should you use a belt.... NO
