I create this thread to share some of my F1 models with u guys... i started my diecast collection by purchasing my first ever f1 model last year... basically my f1 collection is made up from Hotwheels and Minichamps, and do feel free to post your F1 models here too!

as for the first f1 model to be posted here, i will upload some shots of this model - Michael Schumacher 66:66 all-time poles from Hotwheels. The model is a limited edition unit with 6666 available worldwide, some after-raced dirt and debris are applied and the "no.1" finger by Michael after the finishing as pole position in the qualifying session in Imola, San Marino.

its Hotwheels le... the quality of Hotwheels f1 models is lower if compared to another f1 model maker - Minichamps. however Hotwheels does produce quite a number of 1/18 limited edition units, especially on Michael Schumacher, while Minichamps focuses more on 1/43 scale models (Minichamps oso produces 1/18 scale f1 models as well). Other makers i heard got BBR and some super high quality hand made maker feature the 1/8 scale according to the actual f1 car...
btw, here is the link to the website from singapore too... www.f1.com.sg
but i dono where the shop is located le, from wat i see through the website, quite a lot of interesting models being sold there...

Hotwheels F1 car quality is very lousy! Minichamps is much much more better. Just look at the hand of Micheal, it is so fat, they dont know how to produce hands. But the model is ok only.

The Minichamps f1.06 BMW sauber 1/18! See the quality of the car!

hey
thanks for the link... yea the shop is packed with lots of f1
goodies... like a chinese saying "although the bird is small, it
has complete internal organs!"
can we say although the car model is small, but it has complete interior?

yea... this i would need to do a little explanation here... coz both these models are 2005 "showcar" versions, meaning that they use 2004 chasis but put on 2005 liveries... so i treat them as 2004 models according to their chasis design...

next up - 1/18 Sauber Petronas C24 Showcar version of Jacques Villeneuve from Minichamps.
