      I have recently purchased a mclaren F1 UT from ebay

      unfortunately when the car arrived - the door had "dislocated" itself
       - the plastic ball joint at the front of the door (not the top joint) had popped out.

       

      The plastic ball is not broken so should be easy to fix right?

       

      I cannot figure out how to push it back in!!! I have tried and tried to force it back in but there seems to be a bit of metal in the way (probably there to stop it coming out in the first place!!)

       

      Can anyone help me?

      I think it's quite difficult to imagine if there are no pics.
