      Any recommendations for buying bicycle in the North? Need not to be very good cos i'm just an amateur =)

    • Depend on what you want to use it for... there's mountain bike, road bike, racer, etc. A good one can easily cost few thousands whereas a cheap one only $60-70.

      And there's also foldable bike if you plan to travel short distance to mrt station etc.

      For beginner, maybe just get those cheap ones. But try to get a good lock as there are many bicycle thief around (lost 3).

      Only on off-peak hours... Hope LTA will extend to peak hour too so those who want to cycle to mrt to work can do so.

    • try www.togoparts.com and search for the north side bicycle shop listings. in yishun, there's a shop called cotech at block 200+. in sembawang, there's one near the esso and spc petrol station called cheap john. but their prices doesnt exactly follow the shop's name.
