Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has told sports director Pedja Mijatovic he needs a new striker.
AS says Schuster held crunch talks with Mijatovic yesterday over Sunday's Supa Copa disaster and told his sports chief: "We needs goals. We need another No.9."
Schuster doesn't regard Roberto Soldado as being ready for the pressure of playing for Real and told Mijatovic to send him away for another season on-loan and to bring in a replacement.
Top of the shopping list is Real Zaragoza striker Diego Milito, whose brother, Gaby, signed for Real's bitter rivals Barcelona this summer. Also in the frame is Ajax ace Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
Mijatovic favours Huntelaar over the cheaper Milito after enjoying success this summer in landing his compatriots Wesley Sneijder, also formerly of Ajax, and Royston Drenthe from Feyenoord.

Usually no.9 are associated with the centre forward kind of strikers.
No.10 usually can play as supportive striker, can playmake, can dribble but not realy known for their predatory prowess aka the ability to position themselves and usually get quite a few goals by picking up on loose balls etc.

Rvn is currently injured and without him they have no one else now and he is also coming to an age where strikers loses their sharpness...
