Chelsea have suffered enough heartache at the hands of Manchester United this season that they are plotting their revenge by making Roy Keane their shock target to replace Avram Grant.
The Express revelation sees the Sunderland manager's name added to a shortlist compiled by the Chelsea hierarchy in wake of Grant's exit.
Keane has been tipped as a potential successor to Sir Alex Ferguson at United, but Chelsea are "considering beating their fiercest domestic rivals to the punch", the article explains.
In a bizarre managerial merry-go-round, ousted Grant, meanwhile, could return to the Premier League with a surprise move to Manchester City.

So he's part Jose Mourinho and part Alex Ferguson (hairdryer treatment)?
That can sometimes be good. Chelsea needs another manager with the personality of Jose Mourinho and a manager who can control the stars. Unless Roy Keane is like Henk Ten Cate, who has reportedly shouted offensively at the Chelsea stars, I think it would be interesting to see Roy Keane at Chelsea.

I'd rather see Roy take over Man Utd from Fergie in 3 years time. His temper's like Fergie, and he knows Utd's playing style more than any other foreign managers. But his dealings in transfer amrket remains to be seen. It's too early to tell coz he's just entered the managing world not too long ago.
