Jose Mourinho is ready to cause a stir in Madrid as he attempts to try and lure Arjen Robben to the San Siro
The ‘special one’ is looking for a winger as he continues to hunt down Europe’s elite players in order to fine tune his squad of big noise players. The Nerazzurri have been pursuing Porto’s Ricardo Quaresma and Roma’s Amantino Mancini.
However, SportMediaset claims that the former Chelsea coach will give his former pupil a call if either of the aforementioned fail to move to his side.
Robben left Chelsea for Real against Jose Mourinho’s wishes and this was one of the starting blocks which led to some turbulence at Stamford Bridge during the Portuguese’s tenure at the helm as he did not want Robben to go.
He could now find himself re-united with the Dutch star at Inter. Porto and Roma’s hardball stance over their players has not gone down to well with the coach and Robben is the alternative.
Real Madrid could sell Robben to Inter if the offer is right and Cristiano Ronaldo’s possible move to the Bernabeu could make it so much easier for Mourinho to land his man.
