Mourinho: No Manager Is Better Than Me

  Inter coach Jose Mourinho admits that he is not the ‘special one’ but he is the best as he believes no-one is better than him.
  
  The Portuguese coach was labelled as ‘Special’ by the English media when he gave his first press conference at Chelsea in 2004.
  
  The name has stuck with him and the Italians have also referred to him as being the ‘Special One’.
  
  However, Mourinho doesn’t believe he is should be hailed in that way but he does insist that he is better than any other coach around the world.
  
  “I arrived in London and I said ‘I was a normal coach, coaching a special group’, the next day I became the special one,” Mourinho told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
  
  “I wouldn’t call myself special. Maybe I am not the best in the world but I do think that no coach is better than me.”

  mourinho is the best this decade. While he is manager, his teams always win honours or came very close to winning honours. SAF got ups and down one. Sometimes manutd is so weak that they surrender the title so many weeks before the season ended.

  Unfortunately in football sense, this is not good enough. Its either you win = success or fail to win = failure. No such thing as coming close. Yah, SAF has ups and downs but how many titles and cups have he won during his stint? How many did Mourinho win? Maybe after his career, he may outshine SAF in terms of achievenment. But until then, he is not considered the BEST manager.

  i think Fergie is the best in the business so far well he doesn't always seem to get his tactics right but he has achieve some great things in his long career

  As much as I hate MAN U, to say that Mourinho is better than Alex Ferguson is pure bull. Alex Ferguson was a great manager who won alot of things in the past and still is a winner even as his age. He is not a has been, he still is a great and possibly one of the greatest managers still in the game. Mourinho is nowhere near there.
