Moussa Dembele’s agent has played down speculation that the striker could be involved in a tug of war between Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester City.
The AZ Alkmaar forward has made European football’s movers and shakers sit up and take notice thanks to a wonder goal he scored recently against Willem II.
The latest YouTube sensation was reportedly watched by representatives from Arsenal and City during a subsequent match against Sparta Rotterdam.
However the Belgium international’s agent, Patrick Vervoort, insisted that he has not heard directly from either side.
“I often hear that these kind of clubs are sat in the stands but I do not know whether they are just watching Moussa,” Vervoort said.
“It may be that they have just come to take a look. The fact is that his goal against the Tilburgers has gone around the world so undoubtedly it will attract more interest.”
