You may like to check before hand, whether you can wear your NYAA Gold badge once you have been awarded it, with Maj John. NYAA Gold is a prestigous badge. Cadets are allowed to wear NYAA bronze.

If i'm not wrong NYAA is the one and only recognised leadership badge in Singapore. His excellency, the president of the republic of singapore actually shakes hands with those who get the gold.

Dorm Olympus Block #03-02(5) & #05-05(27)

i transfered out June 2005. 150 were taken as pioneer batch. but only 140 stayed on.

c'mon. someone say that sports school DO NOT OFFER Normal stream

C'mon. that was taken from sports sch web.

THEY OFFER NA & NT Streams. cos they have the DAE (Direct [School] Admission Exercise) instead of the Normal one, which u need to go back school and passup the PSLE School choices thingy. (which, the Selected pupils will be inform before their PSLE.)

FYI:
- they have selection for DAE every year in July Period.
- Only Around 200 pupils will be excepted, due to small class size.
- Each has around 20-25 students.
- Sports takes up 3/4 of the school day
- Stay at hostel (named after Roman Gods) from Mon-Fri
- Sch Starts at 6am til ard 7+am Breakfast.
- Lesson til lunch, then extra enrichment programme or sports
- nap ard 3+
- 2nd Training ard 5+ til dinner 7pm
- Supervised study til 10.30pm (Lights out)
- Can skip sch for reason such as Competition and Selections
- Remedial lessons for those who miss lessons due to competition(s).
- 8 Modules instead of 4 Terms a year
- Students have to go back to Sch for training even it is the year end holiday, except those in competition.
- 14 Sports are offered
- Games room where student can relax themself with a pool of Lan-PCs & Game Consoles.

yes thats rite luke.eventhough we r in the ncdcc, we rarely do the real cd action.mostly we will teach our cadet bout discipline,footdrill n inspire them n make them a better person n clt must be a mentor to their life.look at it this way,they are kids,the cadets,n we dun expect them to do fight fire or anything.yes we teach them cd knowledge but we dun train as if they are regulars.most of the time we do wat other ug do,have fun with them n to inspire them.seriously,for ppl like u,u want action.u want activity parallel to cd officer training.so its advisable for u to join cd aux.seriously u wont regret
