Hi guys, I'm new to the game and hope you can answer some questions for me.

I got a level 16 paladin with 381 health and I'm wondering whether it's too low, as I'm having difficulty taking on even monsters of my own level. I notice that when I level I'll gain stamina in addition to health, but the additonal stamina should add on to health right? But I don't see any additional health besides that which I gain when I level.

For example, when I leveled from 15 to 16, I gained 20 health and 1 stamina, but my health increased only from 361 to 381. It seems as if the additional 1 stamina didn't have any effect. Is this normal?

Firstly I suggest you should grind lower level mobs if you can't handle those at your level.

Secondly start collecting green pieces of equipment esp those with +stamina so as to boost your stamina. You can regularly check the auction house too.

As for the question on stat gain, I think 1 stamina is too insignificant to raise your health but as your progress to higher levels, the health gain through leveling is much more obvious.

Also don't hestitate to heal during fights. After all you are a pally and should be able to mitigate the damage you are taking by healing it through.

Thanks for replying. So am I right to say that the stamina gained during leveling does not add to your health?

increase yr damage lah...
buy a good two hand weapon... change to pvp spec...
think yr spec pump wrongly ...
or some of the skills u have not fully explored...

A good way to learn is to go to PVP... n see how other paladin fight....

What is a pvp spec? How do I achieve it? If my spec pump wrongly, can I change? Currently I'm working on the retribution tree, going straight for seal of command.

lol... forget abt pvp...
pvp is player vs player where u get to learn all sorts of skills from them...

think retribution tree is ok but depends on what u pump...

u should not be worry much on yr stamina coz str n attack power is important for leveling paladin in order to kill fast...

Under my procession
1) 2 lvl 60 mage (amatul n khazagoth)
2) 1 lvl 60 druid (khazagoth)
3) 1 lvl 60 hunter (dont noe wat us server)

Play and level b4
1) 1 lvl 60 priest (amatul)
2) 1 lvl 60 rogue (khazagoth)

Others :
lvl 40 warlock
lvl 40 warrior
lvl 45 druid
lvl 42 shaman

The above characters r all sealed by me... Can never be used again...

So, I start lvling lvl 30++ shaman after expansion... Found myself no drive to lvl becoz of no companion... then, dont play liao.. join sgforum liao....

In any case, which char do you think is the best for soloing? I chose to play pally as I thought he's quite suited to soloing, but I'm finding it a little tough-going. Would warrior be better?

anyway... to lvl a character to lvl 40 is very easy...
it gets hard to lvl a character after lvl 40
And it gets even harder to lvl a character after lvl 60 ---> I heard

New server is easier to lvl ... coz, there are more people to do instance n quest with u ....

WOW is designed in a such a way tat all class is able to be a farming (solo)character... u just need to learn how to play ... All character has the advantages and disadvantages... Well... u can just try any character n see if it is better , or not ???

Probably, I will be playing WOW again during december... hahaha... maybe, will see u in amatul... hahahahaa.... Must buy game card ... still thinking...

I've tried mage and hunter. I didn't like the mage due to the casting time. I prefer to get in there and start whacking. So melee characters are the ones for me.
