I know this is a little off the theme of your forum but I came across a thread concerning the Malaysia Cup and learnt that you had the Official Album of 1993.

Why some ppl need to put veil, and others just wear tudung only?

The tradition is to use the right hand.

But if you're a lot more comfortable using your left hand, you might want to tell the host first.

Which is why it is important that you have to understand the context in which the verses appear.

Actually it's not just anti-Islamic factions that take verses out of context... extremist/terrorist factions have been known to do the same to justify their heinous deeds in the name of Islam.

I've been looking up youtube comments lately, and have seen a lot of anti-muslim comments. Most of them came from America.

Most of them are just comments but some try to convey that Islam is a religion of violence by quoting the Quran.

One of the most famous quote would be Suran 9:5 "fight and slay the unbelievers where ever you find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them"

Sounds violent huh...

Lets try this one more time, but include the previous and next verse and complete the current verse.

This particular passage is simply referring to a historical where some unbelievers had broken a peace treaty with the muslim and a battle had erupted.

We live in Singapore where Religious harmony exist. Lets not let something as simple as taking stuff out of context ruin that.

Because the traditional Malay way of eating is by using the right hand. The use of the left hand is considered bad manners. The same goes with receiving or giving things.
