Since young i love to play soccer, but they keep oppose me of playing.
When im in sec 2, my clsmate was from tampines rovers youth team and
invited me to join him. but requirements was a soccer boots.
I asked my dad and he ask me to ask my mum. I ask my mum and she said
no.
Its ok, cause i can play football with any shoe. In the end i failed to enter
the youth team because i did not have proper foot wear.
A couple of weeks ago, i asked them if they could let me buy a soccer ball
cause im sick of borrowing from others. They say its a waste of money. Instead they were buying 4Ds and toto almost everyday/ week. Throwing $$ into the drain den allowing me to live my dream. Everytime i said im off playing soccer with friends. They either give me the fierce look or buay song me. I dunno why. Fk them.
I told them if i had the ball myself, i wouldnt have to wait till my friend lend me his and i could train myself everyday. They said its a waste of time and afraid its jus a "san fen zhong re du". WTF they r my parents and they dont know soccer was my passion since i was small. I told them nicely that soccer keeps me fit and healthy. But they said, if u wan keep fit, jus go down and run a few rounds la, buy wad buy, waste $$. THEN U ALL BUY TOTOT 4D NOT WASTE $$? THE $$ U WON FROM 4D ALSO CANT COVER UP THE MONEY U USED TO BUY THEM LA. IF U THINK SO EASY WIN, WHY SINGAPORE POOLS SO RICH.
A 30 DOLLAR SOCCER BALL AND A 100 DOLLAR BOOTS COULD HAVE MADE MY FUTURE BRIGHTER. I would be playing in s.league or representing country in a few years time if i did joined tampines rovers in sec 2. Now im jus a lousy void deck player who gets injured from time to time, coming home, my parents din even ask me pain anot, they jus give me a fuk up look.

Not being able to make the team because you din have proper footwear is baloney lah.... Look at the kids in Brazil - they are so poor you think they got money to buy shoes, let alone soccer boots. Yet, these poor kids make excellent soccer players......
So TS, I dun think you've got your facts right. Don't blame yr parents for your lack of ability lah!

sec 2 that time work wad? zzz
now i have to juggle between poly work, piano, and my soccer passion. i dont blame my parents for not giving me $ to buy. im just angry that they spend their $$ on 4D and toto. one week spend 100+ on 4D and toto, family income 1.2k only. keep using savings. coz las time my dad earn alot in the 1980s.
and save alot. but in the 90s bad business den close down and rent out. Now only income is rental fee. 1.2k per mth, minus bills left 900+. every month withdraw $$ from last time savings. how long the savings gonna last?
