Now Gunner need to win against Man C and spurs and prepare for March showdown at S/B and O/T as they look likely to loss point there ,so now 1 point clear is not enuff for them. They r still passing too much infront of goal and wasted many chance.

Wenger wary of title rivals

Arsene Wenger insists the Premier League title race remains wide open after the conclusion of Grand Slam Sunday.

Arsenal and Manchester United stretched their advantage at the top of the table with respective 1-0 victories over Chelsea and Liverpool.

Chelsea are now six points adrift of the Gunners with the Anfield side a further four back in fifth place, although Rafa Benitez's men do still have one game in hand.

But Wenger insists that it would be foolish to write off any side with over half of the season still to be played.

Consistent

He told Sky Sports: "It's very difficult, there's nothing decisive.

"Liverpool have dropped some points at home and they will need to come back, but they are still in it.

"Chelsea have showed they have the strength to fight for the championship.

"At the moment the most consistent are Man Utd and Arsenal."

Wenger was delighted with the way his side responded to a recent run of one point from two matches after a draw at Newcastle and defeat at Middlesbrough.

Outstanding

He added: "We have showed great mental strength again to bounce back after the loss at Middlesbrough and we have shown that we are resilient and ready to fight for every ball.

"It was a tough game, locked in the first half, open in the second one where there were a few times when we should have scored the second goal.

"As long as you don't do that with a team like Chelsea throwing everything forward you can concede a goal.

"Our defence was outstanding because not only did they keep a clean sheet but they scored a goal as well. Overall, I felt it was a great football game."

well, it is a joy dat we r back! 4 key players really proven alot of different to our squad. n it matters most becos it boosts some of the players like ade n rosicky start to play good passing game.
