Arsenal and Tottenham are thought to be the leading candidates for the highly rated midfielder's signature, with Arsene Wenger reportedly having earmarked the 24-year-old as the ideal replacement for Mathieu Flamini.
“The most important thing for a player is to keep growing,” said Makoun in his latest comments. “I think the Lillois must understand.
“It could be good for the club as well,” he added, in a nod towards the hefty transfer fee that the modest French side are likely to receive for him.Makoun, well known to English fans for his appearances for Lille against Manchester United in the Champions League, has built a strong reputation over the past three years in France. Is is not only Premiership clubs that are hot on his heels, however, as Juventus are also known to be keen admirers.
Hope he will come to Arsenal, good replacement for Fla-money

Spurs Target Makoun Wants Champs League
Reports from France suggest that Lille's Jean Makoun could snub Tottenham Hotspur in his pursuit of Champions League football.
Makoun is almost certain to leave and has been hotly tipped to join Juande Ramos' Spurs revolution, but Arsenal and Juventus are reportedly waiting to hijack the deal.
In fact, sources suggest that Spurs have already made an initial offer to Lille for the Cameroon international. However, the London side can only offer Uefa Cup football, despite their widely accepted potential.
Furthermore, Juve are said to be very interested in the midfielder, while Arsenal, too, have him on low priority as they seek to replace the departed Mathieu Flamini.Ligue 1 champions Lyon have also been tipped to enter the race, but Makoun could look for a fresh challenge outside Ligue 1.
