    • Any Chinese tea or Japanese green tea... wulong/oolong,
pu er, jasmine, etc can help in weight loss because all these tea are drank without adding sugar, Some teas have some benefits that others do not have, like relaxing the body and mind, reduce heatiness and so on. It is a total study to know the benefits.

However these tea alone cannot help you lose weight. You will need a change in your diet and some exercise.

I understand to make the tea, water has to be 95 degreeC.

Hot tea helps to digest food... my knowledge does not extend to cold tea.
I was told only one tea can be kept overnight in the fridge for max three days and that's the 30 year old organic PuEr.

    • Green tea or any other tea emusifies fats (breaks up fats 4 easier digestion) & therefore has an effect on weight loss. Additionally green tea has strong anti-oxidant properties which will promote general good health but must remember to take it consistently.

    • Apparently some teas contain caffeine, Not all teas. Before buying , check it out.

The ones listed here that do not contain caffeine are white tea, tian qi flower, golden green tea/wild puerh tea and old puerh tea.

I used to stay awake if I drink chinese tea in the afternoon. Now I can drink it anytime, as I buy the ones that do not contain caffeine. Razz
