    • Planning for a two weeks trip to Vietnam and Cambodia..

      Im interested in kayaking, hiking and those exotic beaches.

      Also interested in volunteerism works.

      Any recommendation for cheap accomodation and where to go, eat, do and see things ?

      Btw how do i cross over Vietnam into Cambodia.. the easiest way to go about it

      Most blogs are in English. A language that is very similar to Singlish (or so I've heard).

      Depending on which part of Cambodia you'd like to visit. From Saigon you can enter Phnom Penh by road. Try the public bus. I don't think there are many exotic beaches around both countries, more dirt road and quiet beaches, though views are not fantastic.

      For volunteer work, no need to arrange in advance lah. Just go there with lonely planet guide, pop by any orphanage etc, tell them you'd like to volunteer and they'll let you start immediately. Paint walls, clean up the place, play with the children. imho it's ad hoc arrangement.
