    • Going there this September. Booked tickets from Five Stars Tour. Will be going there by the 26 seater coach.

Anyway, hows the coach service like? Is it good or bad?

And anything to take note while we are enjoying ourselves in Genting?

    • And where are some of the good places to shop and eat in KL? Should be heading down on one of those days, any tips how to get there? Negotiating with Cab Drivers? We probably have no qualms about taking cab to and from Genting?

    • Five Stars. Good choice. I assume it's the Executive Class 26-seater? Then it might be the new M.A.N coach featured on its advertisements. But then again, I was also told that my trip will be on the new coach until someone else advises me not to put high hopes on that matter. Five Stars tend to deploy any coach that is available. Executive Class, for example, has around 3-4 different types of coaches. The coach itself is above average. Very comfortable and the ride should be a smooth one. Where is your boarding point?

Golden Mile Complex, based on past experiences the ride is fairly comfortable, never really experienced any cramps, numbness or whatnots. However coming back is usually not on time, due to times where Bus Driver drops a friend off first? lol? Bus Driver decides to "pangseh" us and let another returning Bus bring us back? lol?

For going to KL looking for good food, go Chinatown and for fun places. Go Time Square, the indoor theme park is cheap for our Sing dollar and the roller coaster clock 120km/h.. Shiok!

    • I also went gentings recently and boarded the 26-seater bus home(one way). I did not specify that i want a good coach and i was given a lousy bus on my way there. The 26-seater bus is quite awesome. Good movies and games. ANd messengers seats.

Don't get your hopes too high, most probably our ride won't come with personalised tv screen or massager

    • Did you guys got any confirmation if it's the Executive Class or the Super VIP coach?

Anyway, from Genting, you can hop on to the yellow Genting Shuttle bus, which departs every 30 mins from the First World Bus Terminal to Pekeliling Bus Hub (Titiwangsa LRT/Monorail Station) in KL. RM5.50 per person.

Alternatively, head down to the Skyway Cable Car Station (via the Skyway Cable Car of course) and take the red Genting Express buses to either Puduraya (RM3.50), Pasarakyat (RM3.50) or KL Sentral (RM3.30).

    • I think 26 seater doesn't have personal tv. Anyway, due to high oil prices, they have increased the fuel surchage. I went there last month and pay $5 only. Now it's $14.
