    • hi all dog owners. Just wanna share some important tips. My dog used to gobble up all her food and water in less than 1 min.Sometimes she would vomit . I did not bother much until i read the dangers of that habit.

      http://www.globalspan.net/bloat.htm
Firstly, there is a danger of him choking

Secondly there is the problem of bloating, which is VERY DEADLY:
Bloat is the 2nd killer of dogs. Large chest dogs such as german shephards,Labrador Retriever ,Miniature Poodle hold potential risk.

Prevention: now no matter how busy i am, i feed her portion by portion, let her finish the previous part first.

      or, you can:
Arrow Arrow Place a large, heavy ball in the middle of your dog's food dish, forcing him to eat around the ball.
Feed him by hand, training him to take things slowly, and not rush through each handful of food. Show him that no matter how fast eats his mouthful, he still has to wait for the next.

if you can afford it, buy the alpha bowl or brake-fast bowl or eat-better Bowl to save time(can be bought in Singapore):
      http://www.brake-fast.net/
      http://www.petfuze.com/eatbetterbowl.html
      http://www.alphapaw.com/eatbetter.php

Also can try the Drink better bowl
      http://www.alphapaw.com/drinkbetter.php

Whether drinking or eating too fast is DANGEROUS. Bloating can a long term danger, meaning just because today she is ok, does not mean no danger Wink

They sell those special dog dish at "Pet Lovers Centre", with a 3 clove leaf formation in the middle, it separates the food into 3 compartments, enabling the dog to eat slower.

The big dog dish cost like I think $45.

I think your link is cheaper at $38.
