    • Police are looking for a man, shown in the following pictures, to assist with investigations into cases of Outrage of Modesty involving young victims.

      The subject, believed to be a Chinese man in his late-20s, is about 1.65m tall, plump, with small eyes, a fair complexion and sporting black spiky hair. He was usually seen wearing round-neck T-shirt with stripes and bermudas. On some occasions, he was wearing a pink T-shirt.

      Anyone with information on the said subject is requested to call the Police at 1800-255-0000. All information will be kept strictly confidential.

    • CRIME PREVENTION ADVISORY ON THEFT

       

      Recently, 3 cases of theft were reported at commercial premises at Woodlands. The victims were all young children aged between 2 - 5 yrs old. The culprit would walk around the shops to look for young children adorned with gold jewellery. He would approach the victims when they were left alone, and take away their gold jewellery.

       

      2        The culprit is described to be a Chinese subject in his 40s, fair complexion, height of 1.7m tall, sporting a short black/brown colour hair and acne on his face and wrinkles around his eyes.

       

      3        You can help to reduce these crimes by adopting the following crime prevention measures:

       

      a)    Keep an eye on your children at all times while shopping;

       

      b)    Do not adorn your children with excessive gold jewellery; and

       

      c)     Be wary of suspicious persons who may be following you. Move towards the nearest crowded area or dial `999` to alert the police.
