Dear Sir/Madam,
CRIME ALERT – POLICE NOTICE OF MAS SELAMAT BIN KASTARI
You would probably have known by now that Singapore’s Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) leader, Mas Selamat bin Kastari, has escaped from Whitley Road detention centre on 27 Feb 2008 and is currently at large.
2 A massive manhunt involving the local authorities such as police, military and Special Forces is currently underway to track him down.
3. Mas Selamat is not known to have escaped with the help of any accomplice. While on the run, he is likely to attempt to conceal his identity and could resort to stealing items like clothes, food, and even vehicles such as delivery trucks, motorcycles, cars or bicycles in his desperation to leave the country. For more suspicious indicators, please refer to Annex A. In the event that you discover missing items, as listed in Annex A, during this period, please call 999 immediately.
4. While Police is keeping close tabs on the development of the situation, it is pertinent that the public at large remain vigilant and keep an active lookout for the fugitive. We also strongly urge you to secure and lock your vehicles when you go about your daily activities, even if it is a short period of time.
5 Enclosed is a poster of the fugitive for your reference. If you have any information on the fugitive or wish to report any suspicious persons fitting the poster descriptions, please call 999 immediately.

Call 999 if you see any of these suspicious behavior or activities:
What to look out for
Mas Selamat may alter his looks to avoid detection
Other than the photos already released to the press, keep a lookout for these signs:
a) Ill fitting clothes
b) Avoids eye contact
d) Observable limp on left leg when running or walking briskly
e) Attempts to conceal or disguise appearance, such as wearing of cap, head-dress or dark glasses.
Mas Selamat needs food when hiding, and may resort to stealing money and food. He may also change his appearance by stealing clothes.
He may steal transportation means to keep moving to avoid detection or escape from the country.
Keep a lookout for these theft cases:
a) Theft of food
b) Theft of money
c) Theft of clothing, including from foreign workers dormitory or unattended laundry lines
d) Theft of transportation means
· Bicycle
· Motor-cycle
· Motor-car
· Boats
(MSK is a trained vehicle mechanic and knows how to operate motorized boats.)
Police believes Mas Selamat is likely to be more active at night.

A) cnt he have stolen clothes that fit him? it has been 10 days.... so if we see someone who luks like him n has ill fitting clothes., ill call the fashion police. kids who frequent r&b n hip hop clubs will be constantly hauled off...
B) If aviod thn how to confirm its him.
D) so when i see jogger who look like him n have a cramp mus also report. which reminds me of when they reported that he walks w a cramp. my neighbour a middle aged uncle who walks w a limp but bears no resemblance to mas was 'caught' by the boys in blue while taking his morning stroll. hahahaha
E) Err.. about 75% of singaporeans are sporting either a cap, headress of sunglasses at one time or another
truth be told. if he is so smart to escape a secured detention centre. he will not do stupid things to get himself caught.

at least for arm still can, coz can match fingerprints.
