I'd put up a 3-5-2 seeing as how these these defenders are pure class and I've got a wealth of midfield wizardry in the team.
GK : Massimo Taibi
He's not really that bad a goalkeeper, and having 'im in between the sticks would guarantee constant attacking football from my team by removing my players' confidence in a backpass.
CB : Titus Bramble
The most talented player in the Premiership. Narrowly pips out Jaap Stam and Wes Brown for the most number of own-goals scored by a Defender.
CB : Nikos Dabizas
Greco-Pansy quality. The lad will forever be remembered for being left for dead by a pirouetting Dennis Bergkamp (Arsenal - Newcastle a couple of seasons ago)
CB : Pascal Cygan
Tough fight between Cygan and Kolo Abib Toure for this last spot. But the Stam look-a-like was the only real option. Integral part of Arsenal's decline this season. One for the future.
DM : Phil Neville
With 5 across the middle, one man will need to hold it all together to ensure that the team sticks together. Enter the outspoken Phil Neville.
CM : Kleberson
Since we have space in midfield for several passengers, Kleberson must surely be slotted in at his favourite position.
CM : Juan Sebastian Veron
The potent Juan Sebastian Veron slots into central midfield to team up with his South American counterpart. A proven ball-winner, he shows his determination by dispossessing opponents he had only moments before gifted the ball to.
LM : Jose Mourinho
Despite Harry Kewell pressing for a claim in this side with his consistent lacklustre displays, the position must go to Jose "I am the One" Mourinho, seeing as how he spends most of the match encroaching on the pitch anyway.
RM (Revenue Machine) : David Beckham
'Nuff said. His presence pays the team wages.
ST : Peter Crouch
The most talented striker in the Premiership, at 6 feet 7 inches. He is the real enemy of football. FIFA need to ban this man. Easily worth 20 goals a season. Relegates the evergreen Emile Heskey to the bench.
ST : Mateja Kezman
The Serbia and Montenegro striker couldn't hit a barn door from 3 yards out. His backpass to Kiraly found its way in Taibi-esquely and his second was purely good fortune. Plays for Chelsea this season, will play for me come August.
Bench :
Paul Dickov
Salif Diao
Emile Heskey
Bruno Cheyrou
Kolo Abib Toure
Gary Neville
Roy Carroll
Dream team? Let's just say that I don't sleep well.Edited by getwilde 25 Mar `05, 11:15AM

For me... hmm...
Goalkeeper: Peter Cech
Defenders: Alessandro Nesta, John Terry, Mladen Krstajic (Schalke 04 defender)
Midfielders: Pavel Nedved, Claude Makelele, Kaka, Ronaldinho
Strikers: Micheal Owen, Andrivy Shevchenkov, Ronaldo
3-4-3, an all out attacking formation..
Coach: Jose Mourinho, or Paul Le Guen(Lyon coach)
Bench: Damien Duff, Gianludgi Buffon, Paolo Maldini, Micheal Essein, and Arjen Robben
