Looks like Chelsea winning the CL is a far fetch dream, at least this season.
Poor Roman, after spending so much of his roubles, his CL dreams this season seems to be wrecked by the home loss and the sending off of Del Hornier.
I dun think Chelsea can dominate europe the way they dominate epl. There are teams as strong if not stronger than Chelsea, like AC Milan, Juventus, Barcelona. -

Anyway, this is a big leap of standard in terms of quality football from Chelsea. Few years ago, players shooting wide of goals are so common. Almost like Sleague, except EPL at least have some passing. -
And the freaking red card is for the offense/foul/untimely tackle, NOT for how injured Messi was.
People are actually quite absorbed by the story on play acting, even Moaninho. -

But you cant just turn in on and off like a tap in terms of consistency and performance.
Those who set out to win CL, will try to win first place and then when the competition resumes in feb, have to have consistency all the way to the final.
Look at Liverpool consistency last year from feb to may, from second round to semi finals, where chelsea beat them 3 times already. -

you can't lose and hope to win the next leg.
being a MUFC fan, it is the worse scenario. Cause MUFC often lose the following leg and then out they go. so ask Liverpool, I bet they wanted a draw, not 1-0 scenario now. For if benifca score again at Anfield, pool will need to score 3 to stay in competition. That's what happened to MUFC when they host Real Madrid. If you are good, you should be able to win both legs.
If Barca can beat Chelsea convincingly at Nou Camp, where there is no issues with pitch, then Mourinho should not complain but conceed he lost to a better team.
And for those idioits thinking that posing death threats make a different, it is happening in Chelsea Football Page in Norway. Damn barbaric.
Maybe as well, give them all the cups every year. Read the newpapers, wow, so many stories on Chelsea.

it is not easy to keep the scoreline to 1-2 against a team as strong as barca with only 10-men.
i am not trying to take glory away from barca but it is sad being unable to see them complete the match 11 vs 11.
hopefully the return leg at barca will not feature another sending-off. we can then see a good attacking match. -

Sounds like Barca already won the CL cup.
This is just first leg, I don't see why Chelsea can thrash Barca for the second leg.
