We drew, better than nothing.
Forget the match, it's over. DONE.
We had our chances but didn't take them. To say we were wasteful in front of goal is an UNDERSTATEMENT. We lack quality strikers in the Fandi or Sundram mould. And i agree: we play long ball TOO MUCH. Our passing skills are still sorely lacking.
Still, i feel our current manager is the best man for the job. He just lacks the talent up front and in midfield. Need to nurture more youth talent. -

it's pathetic to see singapore team made up of foreigners (1 of them even prc somemore) playing in the homeground and even more laughable that majority of the crowd in national stadium supporters are prc.
it's even more sorry state dat media think singapore can advance to 2nd round. even if we do, r we proud dat the fact we gained help by converting foreigners to PR to gain us medals?

I don't care if Singapore now only has a slim chance of advancing. The thing is, we made China shut up. A 1-0 win and 0-0 draw really isn't something to crow about. China a Asian soccer power? They have been made 2 look like just another ordinary team.

I would say China is probably ranked within the 6 to 10th places in Asian ranking. -
Singapore did perform great.
