      Even 2 tai-ko goals by England can't help them lift their woeful display. Steven MaClaren should be sacked, or maybe stuff that turkey into his mouth before his departure.

      Maybe they should really review the BPL.

      The FA has gotta consider very carefully their next manager. England were, at best, poor last night.

      Austria and Switzerland's police can sleep peacefully knowing the English hooligans won't be there. Maybe its actually a good idea to go and watch the Euro 2008 live.

      England earn what they deserve, although we are going to miss all the big shot players, but i believe Euro 08 will be more exciting without them.

      There's some playing abroad got bought back to England ... from eg. Bundesliga

      Thank god Mcclown did not play Wes Brown, Hargreaves or (Rooney?).

      The score would hv gotten worse like 2-8 or 2-9 against Croatia!

      Not that it's any better now they're out of Euro08!

      I am happy for england. They can avoid further humiliation in the euro.

      Anyway, mcclown is the greatest england crown atm. Now i realise eriksson is actually a very good manager already.

      not trying to rebut what you posted but IMHO, the thing is not just because of them not wanting to go another league but more if other leagues wants them..

      generally for a big leagues like in England, Italy or Spain their best players are often being kept by some big local club, mainly for commerical reasons only a handful of star players would go overseas due to their club not willing to do business with local rivals.

      also playing aboard doesn't makes one a better player, gather experience from another league no doubt but wouldn't make huge differences, the failure of England voice down to lots of factors from not having a good tactician as their manager to injuries to not doing enough maturing good young players to media's building stars out of some slightly above avg players and so on...

      also their failing started the day they drew with teams they should have won, Croatia was just the final nail thats all.. and if their FA were to appoint Shearer as their manager we would probably not see them in the world cup too...
